Community-First Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC)

Overview of the Committee:

The Community-First Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) consists of a wide variety of equity, community, healthcare, government, and other stakeholders. These stakeholders ensure a “Community-First” approach to the project and that important communities along corridor routes, including low-income and disadvantaged communities (DAC), have an opportunity to have their voice heard and to inform the project.

Members:

The CTAC is composed of nonprofits, community-based organizations, health-based organizations, local government departments, and other stakeholders. These members are passionate about and actively involved with community issues, especially including those of low-income and disadvantaged communities.

Objectives:

  • Convene a group of knowledgeable stakeholders to inform the project activities and ensure consistent community engagement throughout the project;
  • Provide input into the development of a Community Engagement Strategy and Equity Plan;
  • Develop proposed community engagement strategy and implementation timeline;
  • Identification of relevant existing equity metrics;
  • Description of anticipated outcomes from community engagement.
